I view psychotherapy or counseling as a professional relationship between the therapist and client. As a client begins talking about their life, I, the therapist walks with you through your world. I will ask questions to further understand your world. Then ideas will be explored for life enhancement and positive change.
I believe that if an individual spends some amount of time and commitment toward their personal growth that they will leave a healthier and happier person. Most people don't have enough tools to get through life's difficulties quickly. A healthier person has more tools to use to get through their problems.
